A BIRTHDAY AND A FAREWELL
Sunday, June 29, 2008
Today we celebrated our friend Dillon's 3rd birthday and his families farewell. Steve has orders and they will be moving to Hawaii *sob sob sob*.
We had such a great time Angela and we will miss you all so much. Maybe a trip to Hawaii is in store for us.
Here are a few shots I took at the party.
The birthday boy blowing out his candle
My boys enjoying the slides
Marisol & Flynn don't quite understand the concept of bike pedals so Marisol decided to give Flynn a hand and push the bike along.
Stacks on Jayden
The birthday boy whacking the pinata and Flynn trying to pull a toe off my foot. He was not impressed that it didn't come off.
Jayden destroying the pinata ... I love Steve ducking in the background. I don't blame him, Jay is lethal with a bat in hand and a pinata in front.
So now to give my friend Angela the lovin' she deserves. Check out the cake that she made for the party today ... yes, she made this. Isn't it awesome. Then again I wouldn't expect any less from her, especially when you see the pirate ship she made for Dillon's 2nd birthday party. I think she has a future in the cake making business.
While I'm giving Angela some lovin', please check out her Etsy site Froggy Babies. She's so incredibly talented and makes the most beautiful baby things.

Wow! I would hate to have to cut into those cakes. They look so lovely.
Hawaii sounds like the perfect gig! How cool!!! (aside from moving away from friends & family again...)

I'm sorry your friends have to leave, especially at such a hard time for you right now! :( ((HUGS)) And I agree, she has a future in the cake decorating business! It looks so professional!

Looks like a fun time for everyone. That Cars cake looks like a lot of work. I made a similar pirate ship and it was pretty easy.....I mean not as easy getting one at the store, but compared to the work that probably went into the Cars one.
